Apparently there's an NBA Lockout league of some sort going on out Vegas way. Of course, funnyordie is makin' hay with it. A little basketball, a little comedy. Might as well toss it up.

It's off-topic, but maybe you guys will find it as interesting (or as WTF? as I did). Check out today's post on www.hoopspeak.com. Apparently, SVG is a man of many talents. I had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn't 4/1...

Why don't the NBA use replacement players to start the season like the NFL did back in 87?

The return of Jake Voshkul and Jake Tsakalidis combined with Greg Ostertag coming out of retirement would keep Bawful going the whole season.

Here's the video that Midway used to pitch NBA Jam to the NBA to get its official licensing early in the game's development. I can't stress enough how awesome this is, and you owe it to yourself to watch, even if just to laugh at the narrator talking about the "realism" of the sound effects and graphics.

Al Harrington sucks in the NBA, so he thrives in the lockout.

Bah, the old "let's make fun of technology past" gambit. Though I did get turned on by the cheerleaders.

In other news, one of the more exciting World Series games in history was played last night. Game 7 tonight.

Remember Wormboy's rule: never miss a game 7 in any sport.

Anyone among Bawful readers heard of this online game?

It's fun and it's about time to start new teams for next season at www.buzzerbeater.com
