Since the NBA Finals are ending tonight and LeBron-Mania is about to start reshaping the laws of nature, here's a video compilation of some of King Crab's worst momenets.

SEE LeBron chuck up airballs.

WATCH as The King gets his ankles broken.

LAUGH at every blown dunk, posterization and turnover.

If you ever wondered why Mikki Moore failed with the Celtics last season...this is why. Watching the video, I'm not sure whether Shannon Brown bowled Moore over or if a stray breeze knocked Mikki down. Thanks to Wild Yams for the link.

I just wanted everybody to know that the slight delay in Livin' Large posts is due to vacation-related chillaxing...which has been much-needed. Here's a blooper reel from the early 90s to tide you over. (And if this isn't enough, check out this airballs video.)

What a bawful summer this is turning out to be. Antoine Walker is facing three felony counts for writing $1 million in bad checks to three Las Vegas casinos, Eddy Curry showed up in Vegas to work out for the Knicks but forgot his shoes, and the Clippers want to sign Allen Iverson.

And I didn't leave work until after 9:30 last night.

It goes without saying that I had no energy to write another Livin' Large post last night. By the time I got back to my flat (that is, apartment), I crawled into bed and softly cried myself to sleep. So...this is what you get: an old video of the Clippers former mascot, the San Diego Chicken, trying to distract Larrry Bird with swimsuit posters. Oh, and of course the Clippers get hosed at the end of the game by a superstar call that goes in Larry's favor. Even in the past, they were who we thought they were.

Basketbawful reader Simas sent in the following e-mail: "I live in Lithuania and last season two players from the USA played for my team -- Zalgiris Kaunas. The two guys were great friends: DeJuan Collins and Marcus Brown. The one was spectacular playmaker, the other a fabulous shooter. Since there is no David Stern, they could speak to the media however they wanted to. As a result, the interviews were HILARIOUS and the fans loved them. You wil never see this in the NBA. Check them out." Simas then provided a list of some really funny videos. Here they are...very much worth a watch.

1. The missing DVD:

2. "I'll bite the camera! Om nom!":

3. Silent comments:

4. "I saved 20 percent on my car insurance...and tried to take that energy into today":

5. The correlation between porn and oncourt performance:

There are some other gems on YouTube, like this video in which Collins explains that "If they're not ready, we're gonna bust their ass." Honestly, these interviews remind me of the late-80s and early-90s when guys like Mychal Thompson, Kevin McHale and Charles Barkley were allowed to speak their minds a little more freely than are today's players. Although, to be honest, we still get this kind of material from Shaq. You know, when he's not demanding more shots and questioning why his team's offense isn't run primarily (read that: only) through him.

This sort of goes along with Tuesday's post about Johnny Most. Passion and humor are largely spontaneous things. And I tend to think the NBA would be a much more interesting league to follow if Stern let his players off the leash a little.

As a follow up to yesterday's Ron Artest video blog post, here's a stinging mouthful of Ron-Ron's latest song and video: "In Da Hood." But beware: If you find horrible and poorly performed rap music particularly grueling, you should skip this.

(But not really. It is, as always, completely and unintentionally hilarious, especially when Ron is cluelessly tapping away at the buttons on his mix machine, which itself looks like something off the original Starship Enterprise. A kitten walking across a computer keyboard would have a better idea of what its doing. Thanks to Dunpizzle for the link.)

This has been around for a while, but it's still worth another look: Steve Nash comically overreacting to a call. Tim Duncan would be proud.

And here's a special bonus video titled "Overweight Gay Guy Checking Out Steve Nash." Ever seen a fan undress an NBA player with his eyes? It's pretty creepy.

Being a professional sports mascot may sound like a maelstrom of perpetual awesome, but it's not all punching cops, assaulting fans, sniping players with t-shirt cannons, getting busted for drug possession, and getting knocked the hell out by NBA legends. No, sometimes it's difficult, embarrassing and even painful work. To wit:

This video was created for the Humanitarian Organization Divac Web site. It stars NBA analysts, commisioners, coaches, and players both past and present, all praising Vlade for his floptastic greatness. With videographic examples and a jaunty tune, no less. I'm telling you, if this video gave soothing foot rubs, I'd marry it.

Back in the day, when the "Internet" was a subscription to America Online and "blogging" was complaining to a group of twenty people in the alt.basketball.sucks newsgroup, the Basketbawful crew had a vision. And a VHS camcorder and a ridiculous amount of free time.

And now, for your Oscar consideration: "Basketball's Greatest Rivalries": An insightful and thought-provoking narrative on the pervasive influence of corporate sports marketing, and it's trickle-down effect on the psyche of America's youth. The "Lamont" character represents the children of tomorrow. The "Boris" character is just kind of a dick. Adjust your speakers, the audio isn't the best.

BGR made a few rounds on public access (the YouTube of 1995) and drew enough attention to spawn a slightly more ambitious (and much more criminous) sequel. This time Josh squares off against a returning Boris, who has become notorious for his hatred of talentless ball players and breakfast cereals.

The response to BGR was enough to encourage us to move into motion pictures. That is, until we actually tried it. In true Joel-Schumacher-Batman-And-Robin fashion, it killed the Basketbawful series dead for many years. Here is the movie trailer we shot, starring Josh and a thinner and more asthmatic Mr. P, and a slew of ad-libbing strangers. (Note: never ask strangers to ad-lib anything. Ever.)

This clip wasn't included in the "You Got Ginobli'd" video, but it may very well be our favorite Ginobili Special: Manu flops not once but twice on the same possession. But the best part, without question, is the first flop...which is actually a double flopparoonie with Steve Nash, who comically splays his arms and legs out after he falls. This is much more rare than hot chicks with douchebags (which, as it turns out, isn't that rare at all).

Enjoy it. Supposedly this kind of stuff won't happen next season...

Basketbawful reader Jocelyn just sent me this video, which is a mash-up of Lakers versus Celtics with the new Batman trailer. Kobe is Batman, KG is the Joker. Most of the video is so-so, but the KG-as-the-Joker parts made me spit up a little. So: Here you go.

Have you ever wanted a bird's-eye view into the life of a legend? Ever wonder what Lawsuit Larry is doing when he's not destroying the Pacers or suing the pants off of hapless resort owners? Then prepare for a Basketbawful exclusive: Watch in thrilling Bawful-O-Vision as a few lucky Hoosiers get to fulfill their lifelong dream...of having lunch with Larry Bird. And based on the evidence, when Larry offers to spring for "lunch," he apparently means "a few glasses of apple juice in a random Conseco Fieldhouse boardroom." The cornerstone of every nutritious starvation.

Note that the Pacers organization called this The Ultimate Experience. Of course, this happened in Indiana, where the terms "ultimate" and "experience" mean radically different things than you might expect.

Best quote: Kelly Simms, the big winner, said: "What am I going to remember? The size of Larry's Hands...NO!" [Nervous laughter]
