ticky-tac foul (tik'-e-tak' fowl) noun. A foul that is called on a play in which the defender makes minimal contact with the offensive player.

Usage example: Eric Snow barely brushed against Allen Iverson, but the ref called a ticky-tac foul because Iverson missed the layup.
