So Chris Mullin's jersey was retired at The Oracle on Monday night, and with it, Warriors' owner Joe Lacob decided to give himself 2 minutes to address a crowd...
...already irked by his decision to move Monta Ellis and Andrew Bogut, in the midst of a 1-postseason-in-18-years streak. (For us, that transaction is primarily relevant because Golden State sent Kwame "First Overall" Brown to Milwaukee.)
The reaction was rather inevitable...
And give it up for the ever-angsty Rick Barry trying to lecture thousands of unhappy fans, most of who have no memory of his championship year!!!!!!!
They're the best fans cause they keep showing up for a franchise whose best finish in the conference in the last 18 years has been 8th. I myself am a Warriors fan but think the trade for Andrew Bogus is a bunch of crap. Just what the Warriors need is another injured big man whose per 36's aren't that much different than Ericka Dampier's. Look them up. This team is such a mess that an injured Kwame Brown would have been a better starting center than Andris frickin' Biedrins.
I think Warriors would've been better off if they kept Ellis and gotten a big man who can mainly defend. Kind of like what Knicks did by getting Chandler. I think Bogut was overrated even when he was healthy. I do feel bad for his freak arm injury, but I'm not sure what Warriors are imagining they'll get out of him. I predict Warriors will sign Oden next to bolster their front court.
Does Anthony Davis remind anyone else of that red hair monster from the old Bugs Bunny Looney Tunes: http://artificialintelligenceblog.ru/img/15/156/Bugs_Bunny_Rudolph_Italian_.jpg
Bogut is a gamble for sure, but I think you guys are reaching. Before that gruesome elbow injury, we're talking about a center who's defensive abilities are only trumped by Dwight Howard.

And you'll love the surname of the player involved.
I just keep watching it, it's hilarious.
