Congratulations to the heat. Despite achieving another of his lofty goals, LeBron will go on this summer thinking about nothing but basketball, as evidenced by this marvelous video.
That looks familiar. Oh yeah, cause I already did it, before widespread high definition. Oh and feel free to comment about the guy that appears at 1:02. People can't seem to wrap their heads around it:
Oh, and Fuck you, Ray Allen.
That is all.
*face palm*
Feel terrible for TD. He busted his ass out there.
Oh, and I'll share a fucking for Ginobili and Leonard for missing foul shots, but Leonard was otherwise great. Ginobili? Except for game 5, Ginobili was a shambling basketball corpse. Are we entirely certain that the Spurs couldn't have used some T-Mac action here? Yes, Ginobili was that bad.
And Pop does that AFTER Vogel already got burned by the same crap by not having Hibbert in the game at the end. Inexcusable.
Coaches can espouse "matchups" all they want, but this is a simple game...Eric Spoelstra is now considered a great coach for nothing more than keeping LeBron, Wade, and Bosh in the game when it counts.
And honestly, in my book, Pop has dropped a few pegs after this one. Now you have to question how much is "genius" and how much is "Tim Duncan's coattails."
Oh, and Danny Green showed in 6 and 7 why he's been cut so many times (including by the Spurs)...wow, did he stink up the joint.
Don't even get me started on Manu...awful...was Cory Joseph hurt or something? Because Breen and JVG were calling Ginobili the backup point guard, but I'm pretty sure that was Joseph's gig, and I believe he did it pretty well.
The Heat had it handed to them. Shame on the Pop. He single-handedly blew it for his team.
But at least Ray Allen now can justify leaving my Celtics. So there's that...

On to newer things, I was looking at a mock draft, and there was a prospect (a certain Gorgui Dieng) whose NBA comparison is Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje.
Really? There's a player called Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje in the league?!

Not going to work, BTW. Garnett and Pierce are old, and Deron just isn't as great as people thought he was. Plus, Kidd is probably not going to be a great coach, at least not now.
He was 4th on Georgetown's all-time shot blocker list (behind Ewing, Mourning, and Mutombo).
What do we all make of the new and revamped Dwightmare? I reckon he'll stay, it's a long shot at this point so that is probably the most likely in Dwightworld.
I just hope Bawfull can summon his inner Popovich, and bring his squad back from the dead.
