Just kidding; I'm incapable of thoughtful analysis. So everyone relax and have a laugh instead. Oh, and for anyone convinced I'm some blind Boston homer, Cavs in 6.

Could that commercial be any less funny?

I think Boston will play much better this round. it'll be very interesting to see how they bounce back from the Hawks' series.

If the Cavs guards hit their wide open shots, Cleveland will almost certainly win. Whenever LeBron gets any kind of help whatsoever, Cavs come out on top. However, their problem is they're incredibly inconsistent.

I can see the Cavs winning if Lebron plays at a even higher level than the wizards series, otherwise celts will just wear the Cavs out.

Wow, I even manage to catch flak on comedy. I will admit though that I was looking for the funnier ESPN commercial where GAP (Garnett, Allen, and Pierce) are walking through the ESPN offices and get harassed for wearing the same outfit. "What, did ya all get together this morning and discuss what you were gonna wear today? ...Embarrassing..."

So, while I won't apologize for anything else I've said, I will apologize for that. If anyone finds that other commercial online, send the link.

LeBron needs to play at a higher level? It's the Celtics that need to play at a MUCH higher level, or else this gonna be over in 6, tops.

If both teams play to their potential, the Celtics should take the series. The question is whether they can and will. I still wonder if KG has the will to attack the basket like he is clearly capable of doing. We shall see.

And LeBron is frightening and amazing and more man that most of us can ever hope to be. We'll see if that singular greatness can carry an entire team as far as it did last year.

I cannot wait to see...

How the poor Zebras are going to call this! I mean, they have both Stern Favorites, being The Celts and The King with other guys wearing same colored/logoed jerseys.

Will His Lordship's Stern Button jam from overuse?

Will the NBA declare the Magic and Pistons DQ'd and advance the winner of this to the finals to ensure no stupid non-Lebron/non-Celtic team gets to the finals for the East?

How many bruises and bumps will the refs take with no suspensions given out no matter how roughed up they get?

Will Lebron and Garnett get a steel cage lowered in game 3 so they be the stars AND the halftime entertainment?

NBA: Where --Stern Wishes This Was The Eastern Finals-- happens.

yes Lebron had some good games in the wizards series but he also had some bad ones. And c's have homecourt and as we have seen they are much better at home than on the road. The problem with the cavs is that their offense completely relies on Lebron so he has to be on every game, especially on the road (i.e. he can't be jacking 9 threes a game and only making 2-3 versus the c's cause thats exactly what they want him to do)

You underestimate boston's defense in boston I think Ted, or else you forget how badly a better cleveland team was dismantled last year by the spur's defense.

Then again you may be more perceptive than me and can see a resurgence of the Boston Choke Party. See how I did that? Used the line from the clip?

Its funnier for others if I don't point it out but then I'm more about the self entertainment.

ps. Btw I liked the clip, Boston Three Party, classic.

I can't find the other commercial anywhere you're likely to be able to embed it from, but it is video 1 here at the moment.

I know you've had discussions before about superstars (cough...cough...Kobe) overreacting to games they're supposed to win, and here's yet another example: Kevin Garnett popping his jersey and acting like he just slayed a lion after his 66-win Celtics toppled the 37-win Hawks in Game 7.

Cavs in 6?

More analysis please.

I think the Celtics failure to contain Joe Johnson and Josh Smith bodes well for Clevelan's chances.

If they can't stop those two, how do they expect to stop the King?

This might Detroit vs. Cleveland all over again...

If you want more analysis, review the massive amount of chatter from the last post.

P.S.> Johnson and Smith are better, and played better, than you're making out.

i had this strange dream just now that after i turned off this blowout i later read that the hawks came within 2 down the stretch. and then the starters were unleashed again.

well I wouldn't say lebron's more man cuz he really did complain alot in the wizard series publicly(justified or not) and get the uberstar treatment (yes uber I like uber)
I don't mind complaining while in the game (as long as you don't do it after every non-call or call)

anyways Boston better not act like Detroit, with their on and off switch cuz really that group hasn't won it all yet (at least KG, Pierce and Allen

I'm calling it here: Game 3, LeBron 25+ FTA.
